Non-invasive imaging and recording technologies are extensively employed in research of mummified human tissues. Our department participated from 2008 to 2012 in research on Egyptian and South American mummies from the Institute of Criminalistics (Prague), the Police of the Czech Republic, the Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures (Prague), and the Municipal Museum in Moravská Třebová.
